Refund Policy

Effective 27 July 2026

SQLMurder is a single one-time purchase of US$30 that unlocks Chapters 4 through 14. Chapters 1 through 3 are free and need no account, so you can play a real portion of the game and decide before paying anything.

Who handles refunds

Purchases are sold and processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Stripe — not SQLMurder — takes the payment, issues the receipt, and processes refunds, under Stripe’s buyer terms.

The short version

  • Within 14 days of purchase, you can request a refund for any reason — a full 14-day money-back guarantee. If the game isn’t what you hoped for, ask and we will approve it.
  • After 14 days, we still read every request. If something went wrong — you were charged twice, the game didn’t unlock, it doesn’t work in your browser — write to us and we will make it right regardless of the date.
  • We do not require a reason, and we will not argue with you about how much of the game you played.

How to request one

Either route works:

  • Reply to your Stripe receipt email, or use the buyer portal at the link in your receipt email to find your order and request a refund.
  • Or email us at cashcon57@gmail.com with the email address you bought with, and we will start it for you.

Stripe returns the money to the original payment method. How quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer.

What happens to your access

When a refund is approved, access to Chapters 4 through 14 is removed from your account. This is automatic: our server is notified by Stripe and revokes the unlock. The same applies to a payment dispute or chargeback that is upheld.

Chapters 1 through 3 stay free and stay yours, and your saved progress, notes, and campaign choices are not deleted. If you buy again later, your progress is still where you left it.

Problems that are not refunds

If the game didn’t unlock after paying, that is usually a processing delay of a few seconds. Reload the case board, or open the account menu and choose Restore purchase. If it still hasn’t unlocked, email us — that is a bug on our side, not a reason you should have to ask for your money back.
